Okay, so a little jumping through hoops. The actual purchase was fast and easy. But before I could download Forex Transformer, they threw an Upsell page at me. Basically they wanted me to spend another $77 for a secondary system that compliments Forex Transformer and will super boost my profits. I turned it down. If a robot won’t perform on its own, why should I have to pay for an upgrade?
The next thing I had to do before I could download Forex Transformer was to give them my name and email address. I can only assume it will be used for marketing purposes to try and sell me more stuff. Already I’m getting a bad taste in my mouth, but we’ll see how it goes.
Finally, I get to the download page. There are 3 download options:
Okay, so first they tell us to open a live real money trading account? Um, no. Sorry. I won’t risk real money until I find out if the robot works.
Then there are 3 options for downloads:
- Download Forex Transformer
- Download the New Transformer Version 2.0
- Download the New Transformer Version 3.o
Okay, so which one do I use? I guess I’ll have to go through the user guides and manuals to see if they say. Otherwise, I’ll just install Version 3.0. Be right back…
So I did use the Version 3.0. They say it can be used with any pair, but works best with EUR/USD on the 15 minute chart. Well, that’s what we did. We left everything at the default settings, including the risk per trade at 10%. Personally, I don’t like trading more than 2-3% per trade, but we want to give the robot the best chance of succeeding, while using the default settings.
Now all that is left to do is wait and see how it performs. Stay tuned and follow along with us.
